MicroRisk Group was engaged by the client who is an energy producer and retailer with an energy portfolio that includes renewable energy sources including wind, solar and batteries, as well as coal and gas.

The client identified a need to have independent verification of one of its business units to confirm implementation and functionality of its safety management system (SMS) prior to their scheduled formalised international Standard ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System (ISO 45001) certification audit.

The client engaged MicroRisk Group to provide a “Health Check” of its SMS against the requirements of ISO 45001. The site verification was undertaken and an Assessment Findings Report identifing non-compliances/non-conformances and recommendations to address the non-compliances/non-conformances issued shortly thereafter.
